Senator Patrick Gallivan's voting record for the week of March 10, 2025, includes a range of bills addressing various issues from healthcare to environmental conservation. Among these, several notable votes were cast on key legislative proposals.

Gallivan voted against S1438A, which aims to establish the New York State Abortion Clinical Training Program Act within the Department of Health. The program is designed to train healthcare practitioners in performing abortions and related services. Gallivan also opposed S123, which seeks to ban the sale of infant walkers unless deemed medically necessary by a professional.

The senator supported S1187, allowing local sanitation departments to use security cameras for identifying illegal dumping activities. He also backed S1704, which expands options for petroleum bulk storage tank colors to reduce volatile emissions.

Gallivan co-sponsored and voted in favor of S1619, expanding pharmacists' authority to administer tests for RSV, Strep Infection, Hepatitis C, HIV, and blood sugar levels. He approved S2447 as well, which alters requirements for proving unlawful motivation in discrimination claims under Executive Law.

S1048 and S2040 did not receive Gallivan's support due to concerns about burdensome requirements on public agencies and unnecessary statutory demands respectively. Similarly, he voted against S923 regarding voter party enrollment changes.

In contrast, Gallivan favored several bills aimed at enhancing consumer protection and utility regulations. These include S934 requiring AI systems to display warnings about potential inaccuracies in outputs and S916 raising fees for temporary interpreters while ensuring fair compensation across courts.

Additional support was given to measures like S1202 establishing an elder justice task force and S2091 setting standards for reusing deconstructed building materials. The senator endorsed initiatives like S365 amending beverage control laws and various other proposals focused on employment rights and health care access.

Gallivan's decisions reflect his stance on a wide array of issues impacting New Yorkers statewide.
