Graduates earn 472 degrees, certificates from Trocaire College

About 96.8 percent of the 472 degrees and certificates handed out by Trocaire College in 2017-18 were to students in health professions and related programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Buffalo conferred 338 associate's degrees and 92 certificates in health professions and related programs.

But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in registered nursing/registered nurse. Data shows the school gave out 256 associate's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse, followed by 69 certificates in licensed practical/vocational nurse training and 46 associate's degrees in radiologic technology/science - radiographer.

The college enrolled 1,349 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
