Public safety telecommunications week continues and we have no shortage of expertise and experience to highlight.
MERS Coordinator Eric Sharpe began his journey into emergency services in 2014 with the Erie County SMART team and the American Red Cross. Eric has served as government liason to Red Cross and a FEMA contractor and deployed out of state to large scale incidents
After becoming a certified EMT in 2019, Eric decided to join our team here at the Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Services. We are thankful for the knowledge and expertise he brings to the job and his passion for continuing education and training.
Eric loves his coworkers, his job, and the strategy required to serve an entire county.
Thank you for your continued dedication and strong work, Eric!
