Amherst Central High School recently issued the following announcement.
Students in Christina Evans’ Career & Financial Management and Entrepreneurship courses had the opportunity to get advice from special Tiger alumni. Via Zoom, the Amherst alumni shared their career experiences with about 100 students. The students asked many great questions and enjoyed hearing from former Tigers.
One alum, Ara Bagdasarian, authored a book, "The Lemonade Stand", which is being read by all the Entrepreneurship students, along with his corresponding curriculum support material. The book is a great read on the mindset of an entrepreneur.
ACHS thanks all the guest speakers for taking time out of their day to be a mentor to Amherst students: William Mattar, Rob Michalak, John Domres, Dr. Todd Shatkin, Brian Wilcox, Tim Coudriet, Ara Bagdasarian, Trooper Jeffrey Bebak and Lisa Coppola, (not pictured, The Coppola Firm, Class of 1982).
