Cost of college went up for all students at Trocaire College

Tuition and fees rose 2.2 percent for 2018-19 at Trocaire College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

New York students paid $17,650 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $540 more than the $17,110 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 98 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 88 students received grants or scholarships totaling $868,863 and 73 students took out student loans totaling more than $616,085.

Including all undergraduates (1,349), 1,114 students used grants or scholarships totaling $6.5 million, and 1,063 students took out $8.2 million in federal student loans.
