63 percent of applicants to Medaille College were admitted for fall 2018

At Medaille College, 74 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 73 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Buffalo enrolled 2,146 students in fall 2018, including 1,511 in undergraduate and 635 in graduate programs, data shows. 10.5 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

87 percent of undergraduates are residents of New York, and 6 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (64 percent) and Black or African American (19 percent).

The school admitted 63 percent of the 1,613 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 38 percent enrolled.
