On Friday, May 23, former City Honors School standout Xavier Mann’s current collegiate team the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears won 6-3 against the Catawba Indians in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.
The game took place at Newman Park at 6 p.m. and was the second matchup against the Catawba Indians in the tournament.
