On Tuesday, March 25, former Grand Island Senior High School standout Brayden Willats’ current college team, the Mercyhurst Lakers, lost 14-9 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Niagara Purple Eagles.

The game took place at John P. Bobo Field. This was their first matchup against the Purple Eagles this season.

The Lakers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 2 p.m. at Mercyhurst Baseball Field against Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks.
