Buffalo, NY - Coinciding with the official start of summer recess for Buffalo School students, Mayor Byron W. Brown today announced extended splash pad hours in Buffalo. Starting Friday, June 23rd, the City’s 10 splash pads will be open daily through Labor Day weekend, weather permitting, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
“Our splashpads are a free, fun, and cool destination for City children and their families and continue my Administration’s long- standing commitment to supporting programs and parks to further improve the quality of life and health of our residents,” Mayor Brown said.

HOUGHTON PARK - FOOT OF SPAHN ST.
LANIGAN PARK - SOUTH PARK AVE., WEST OF LOUISIANA ST. LINCOLN PARK - FOOT OF QUINCY ST
MASTEN PARK - BEST ST., ADJACENT TO JOHNNIE B. WILEY SPORTS PAVILION MLK JR. PARK BASIN - BEST ST. AND FILLMORE AVE.
RALPH WILSON PARK - FOOT OF PORTER AVE. ROOSEVELT PARK - FOOT OF ROOSEVELT AVE. SCHILLER PARK - SPRENGER ST. SIDE OF PARK
An 11th City splash pad, located at the Kensington Pool, will open once construction is completed in the months to come. Additionally, swimmers can cool down at two of the City’s indoor pools. The Cazenovia- Connors, Kait, Harrity Memorial Pool and Lovejoy pools are open for free and lap swimming Monday through Friday, as posted, year-round.
