Census Bureau: More women than men in Akron in 2020

Of the 2,860 people living in Akron in 2020, 53.1 percent (1,519) were women and 46.9 percent (1,341) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Buffalo Ledger.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 59. In the 65 and over age range, there were 382 females and 219 males.
