Boston home prices rise in 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in 2017 in Boston rose by $9,000 while total sales decreased by 21.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2017, there were 54 homes sold, with a median sale price of $177,000 - a 5.4% increase over the $168,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were 69 homes sold in Boston in 2016.
