Amherst home prices rise in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in Amherst rose by $10,550 while total sales decreased by 22.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were 713 homes sold, with a median sale price of $200,000 - a 5.6% increase over the $189,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 918 homes sold in Amherst in the second half of 2016.
