Boston home prices rise in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in Boston rose by $5,604 while total sales decreased by 16.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were 26 homes sold, with a median sale price of $166,700 - a 3.5% increase over the $161,096 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 31 homes sold in Boston in the second half of 2016.
