Newstead home prices rise in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in Newstead rose by $10,000 while total sales decreased by 41.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were 18 homes sold, with a median sale price of $175,000 - a 6.1% increase over the $165,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 31 homes sold in Newstead in the second half of 2016.
