Akron home prices rise in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in Akron rose by $13,000 while total sales decreased by 9.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were 19 homes sold, with a median sale price of $150,000 - a 9.5% increase over the $137,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 21 homes sold in Akron in the second half of 2016.
