Boston home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2017 in Boston rose by $3,804 while total sales decreased by 18.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2017, there were nine homes sold, with a median sale price of $164,900 - a 2.4% increase over the $161,096 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 11 homes sold in Boston in the fourth quarter of 2016.
