On Wednesday, April 2, former St. Mary’s High School standout Savannah Drozda’s current college team, the Norfolk State Spartans, lost 6-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the East Carolina Pirates.

The game took place at Max R. Joyner Family Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Pirates this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 2 p.m. at NSU Softball Field against Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks.
