Senator Gallivan, a member of the New York State Senate and former Sheriff of Erie County, recently shared reflections and updates on his social media account.

On January 5, 2026, Senator Gallivan posted about his experiences at Highmark Stadium. He wrote, “Happy Victory Monday! We all have fond memories of attending games & concerts at Highmark Stadium over the years. Sunday’s final game reminded me of being there with family & friends to cheer on the Bills & the many times working there while serving as Sheriff of Erie County.”

Two days later, on January 7, 2026, he shared a link without additional commentary: “https://t.co/IKkq7ORvSh”.

Later that same day, Senator Gallivan announced the start of the legislative session by stating, “The NYS Senate 2026 session is underway. https://t.co/hGxyghdj1m”

Highmark Stadium has been home to numerous sports and entertainment events in Western New York. The Buffalo Bills’ games are a central part of local culture for many residents. Senator Gallivan’s mention of working at the stadium refers to his previous service as Sheriff of Erie County, a role he held before joining the New York State Senate.
