On Wednesday, April 23, former St. Mary’s High School standout Savannah Drozda’s current college team, the Norfolk State Spartans, lost 12-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the North Carolina Tar Heels.

The game took place at Anderson Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Tar Heels this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 26 at 1 p.m. at NSU Softball Field against Howard Bison.
