On Saturday, March 29, former Williamsville North High School standout Sarah Parzych’s current college team, the D’Youville Saints, won 6-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Mercy Mavericks.
The game took place at Dobson Field. This was their second matchup against the Mavericks this season.
The Saints’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 9 at 3 p.m. at Dobson Field against Malone Pioneers.
The Buffalo Sabres overcame a deficit to beat the New York Rangers 5-3 at Madison Square Garden. Ryan McLeod broke a long goalless streak while Zach Benson recorded his second career multi-goal game. The win gives Buffalo a two-point lead atop their division.
