On Saturday, March 22, former City Honors School standout Xavier Mann’s current college team, the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears, won 17-0 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the UVA Wise Cavaliers.
The game took place at Durham Field. This was their second matchup against the Cavaliers this season.
The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 4 p.m. at Durham Field against UVA Wise Cavaliers.

Buffalo Sabres coach Lindy Ruff announced that rookie Noah Ostlund will miss time due to injury suffered during Game 5 against Boston. Josh Norris is expected back as Buffalo prepares for another playoff matchup.
David Pastrnak scored an overtime winner as the Bruins beat the Sabres to avoid elimination. The playoff series now heads back to Boston with Buffalo leading three games to two.
