The Buffalo Sabres have announced a partnership with Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center to support the Bald for Bucks initiative during March. The collaboration aims to raise funds for cancer research and patient care programs in Western New York.

Fans are encouraged to visit Sabres.com/BaldForBucks to make donations. Those who contribute $50 or more will receive a special Sabres-branded Bald for Bucks T-shirt. All funds raised through this campaign will remain in the region, focusing on advancing local research projects and supporting services for cancer patients.

Candace Johnson, PhD, President and CEO of Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, commented on the continued involvement of the hockey team: “The Buffalo Sabres have long supported Roswell Park’s mission to end cancer, stepping up as vocal advocates for the cause. I am energized to see Marty and Dan once again shaving their heads to raise critical funds for cancer research and patient care programs. Together, through Bald for Bucks, we’re taking a stand against cancer and spreading hope to patients everywhere.”

Over the years, the Sabres have been regular contributors to Bald for Bucks, helping raise more than $770,000 toward the initiative. This year, broadcasters Dan Dunleavy and Marty Biron will participate by having their heads shaved live during the MSG broadcast on March 28 as part of fundraising efforts.

Martin Biron expressed his appreciation for being involved: “I’m grateful for the opportunity to once again participate in Bald for Bucks and stand behind the incredible work of Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. The impact this initiative continues to have on our community is inspiring and it serves as a reminder of what we can accomplish when we come together to support one another.”
