Fans of the Buffalo Sabres will have an opportunity to watch the team’s road game against the Pittsburgh Penguins alongside two notable former players. Gilbert Perreault and Mike Foligno are set to appear at a free watch party on Thursday, March 5, at Stir Bar inside Seneca Niagara Casino.

The event is open only to individuals aged 21 or older. While tickets are complimentary, they must be reserved in advance.

The party is scheduled to start at 6 p.m., with the game broadcast beginning at 7 p.m. on a 43-foot HD screen inside the venue.

Attendees will have several opportunities during the evening, including taking photos with Perreault and Foligno (as time allows; autographs and outside items are not permitted), participating in an exclusive Q&A session with both former players, enjoying private bar access, trying casino games, and entering for chances to win Sabres-themed prizes.

Perreault was selected as the first draft pick in franchise history in 1970 and centered the “French Connection” line. His number 11 jersey has been retired by the team, and he remains the franchise leader in games played, goals, and points.

Foligno played ten seasons with Buffalo and became popular among fans for his style of play. He is also a member of the Sabres Hall of Fame.

“The party begins at 6 p.m. The game between the Sabres and Penguins begins at 7 and will be shown on Stir Bar’s 43-foot, HD screen.”

“Perreault was the Sabres’ first-ever draft pick in 1970 and went on to center the famous ‘French Connection’ line. His No. 11 hangs in the KeyBank Center rafters and he still holds team records in games played, goals and points.”

“Foligno’s hard-nosed play made him a fan favorite throughout his 10 seasons in Buffalo. He is a member of the Sabres Hall of Fame.”
