The Buffalo Sabres announced on April 13 that they will host Fan Appreciation Night during their final regular season game on Wednesday, April 15, when they face the Dallas Stars.

The event is intended to thank fans for their support throughout the season and includes giveaways, special pricing, and activities at KeyBank Center. The team said that the first 15,000 fans in attendance will receive a Tage Thompson bobblehead. Throughout the night, there will be additional celebrations such as activities in the concourse and discounts at both the Sabres Store and concession stands.

All headwear and apparel (excluding jerseys) at the Sabres Store will be offered at a thirty percent discount. Concession stands across the arena will feature special prices including $7 pregame happy hour Labatt Blue or Blue Light cans (16-ounce), $4 hot dogs, $4 popcorn, and $4 pretzels with cheese.

Fans attending can participate in several concourse activities: taking virtual photos with players using an AR Player Photo Mirror presented by Highmark; bidding on autographed memorabilia courtesy of Total Sports Experience; sampling Owl’s Brew products; receiving mystery packs of trading cards from Dave and Adam’s; creating personalized trading cards with Ticketmaster; as well as enjoying face painting, air brush tattoos, and hair braiding services.

During the game, one fan will be honored as Fan of the Year for the 2025-26 season. In addition, fans voted to select this year’s recipient of the Rick Martin Memorial Award—an honor given to a player who best represents what it means to be a Buffalo Sabre—with recognition set for Wednesday night.

After the game concludes, select Season Ticket Members will have an opportunity to go down onto the ice to receive game-worn jerseys directly from Sabres players as part of their ongoing Jersey Off My Back tradition.
