On Sunday, April 13, former St. Mary’s High School standout Savannah Drozda’s current college team, the Norfolk State Spartans, won 1-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Morgan State Bears.
The game took place at Lois T. Murray Field. This was their third matchup against the Bears this season.
The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 15 at 4 p.m. at NSU Softball Field against Hampton Lady Pirates.

The Buffalo Bills took part in their third annual full team community takeover on May 28 by visiting eight schools across Western New York. Players engaged with students through games and activities at each location.
The Buffalo Bills have signed inside linebacker Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles to a one-year contract. The team also released wide receiver Max Tomczak to make room on the roster.
