On Saturday, April 19, former Canisius High School standout Vincent Mauro’s current college team, the Niagara Purple Eagles, lost 5-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Manhattan Jaspers.

The game took place at John P. Bobo Field. This was their third matchup against the Jaspers this season.

The Purple Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 25 at 3 p.m. at John P. Bobo Field against Sacred Heart Pioneers.
