On Friday, March 7, former West Seneca West Senior High School standout Mikayla Hussar’s current college team, the Canisius Golden Griffins, lost 12-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Penn State Nittany Lions.

The game took place at Nittany Lion Softball Park. This was their first matchup against the Nittany Lions this season.

The Golden Griffins’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 12 p.m. at Our Lady of the Meadows against Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers.
