Quarterback Josh Allen has been named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in Week 11 against Tampa Bay. This marks the second time Allen has received this honor in the 2025 season, with his previous award coming after a game against Baltimore in Week 1. It is also his 17th career player of the week award, which is more than any other player since he entered the NFL in 2018.
Allen completed 19 out of 30 passes, totaling 317 yards and three touchdowns, with a completion rate of 63.3 percent. He also contributed on the ground, rushing six times for 40 yards and scoring three touchdowns, finishing just eight yards behind running back James Cook III for most rushing yards on the team.
Sunday’s game was notable as Allen recorded his first career game with three or more passing touchdowns of at least 25 yards each. He also had his fourth career game with multiple passing touchdowns of at least 40 yards.
He became “the first quarterback in NFL history with multiple career games where he scores three passing and three rushing touchdowns.” In addition, after ten games into the Bills’ season, Allen became “the first player in NFL history in that amount of time to score 15 or more passing touchdowns and 10 or more rushing touchdowns with an average of eight or more yards per pass attempt.”
Allen now shares a record among NFL quarterbacks by joining Cam Newton for most regular-season rushing scores at 75 total. He is also only the fifth starting quarterback to reach at least 90 wins within his first eight seasons, including playoff victories.
