Jess Zittel, a former star at Eden High School, contributed as her current collegiate team, the Denison Big Red, secured a 77-64 victory against the Washington and Lee Generals on Saturday, March 14, in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
The matchup, held at Holekamp Gym at 8 p.m., marked the first tournament meeting between the Denison Big Red and the Washington and Lee Generals.
Denison is scheduled to play again at 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, at Cregger Center.
