On Friday, March 13, Eden High School alum Jess Zittel contributed as her college team, the Denison Big Red, earned an 86-67 victory over the John Carroll Blue Streaks in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
The matchup, held at Holekamp Gym at 5:30 p.m., marked Denison’s first tournament game against the John Carroll Blue Streaks.
Denison Big Red is set to play again on Saturday, March 14, with the game scheduled for 8 p.m. at Holekamp Gym.
