The Hilbert Hawks picked up a 13-4 win over the Fredonia Blue Devils in their NCAA Division III baseball game Wednesday, March 4, at 12 p.m. Former St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute star Joey Haynes contributed to the victory for his college team.
The matchup was played at FSSJ Field Complex, marking the season’s first meeting between Hilbert and Fredonia.
Haynes posted one hit in two at-bats, crossed the plate for three runs, drew two walks and struck out once.
The Hawks prepare to face Fredonia Blue Devils again at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, at FSSJ Field Complex.
