On Tuesday, March 11, former Grand Island Senior High School standout Brayden Willats’ current college team, the Mercyhurst Lakers, lost 7-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Canisius Golden Griffins.

The game took place at Mercyhurst Baseball Field. This was their first matchup against the Golden Griffins this season.

The Lakers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 3 p.m. at Bob Reed Field against Delaware State Hornets.
