On Tuesday, April 8, former Frederick Law Olmsted School standout Max Schmarder’s current college team, the Tusculum Pioneers, won 7-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Lee Flames.

The game took place at Larry Carpenter Stadium at Olympic Field. This was their second matchup against the Flames this season.

The Pioneers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 4 p.m. at Pioneer Park against Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters.
