On Tuesday, March 11, former Canisius High School standout Drew Podlas’ current college team, the Canisius Golden Griffins, won 7-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Mercyhurst Lakers.

The game took place at Mercyhurst Baseball Field. This was their first matchup against the Lakers this season.

The Golden Griffins’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 3 p.m. at Warrior Baseball Diamond against Merrimack Warriors.
