Former Eden High School star Jess Zittel and the Denison Big Red defeated the Trine Thunder 63-54 in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament on Saturday, March 7.
Tipoff was at 7:30 p.m. in Livingston Gymnasium for the Big Red’s first tournament contest versus the Trine Thunder.
The team will return to action Friday, March 13, at 5:30 p.m. at Holekamp Gym.
