Dave DiPietro, a New York State Assemblyman representing the southern portion of Erie County and all of Wyoming County, recently used his social media platform to highlight community events honoring veterans and local leaders.

On April 15, 2026, DiPietro encouraged participation in an upcoming event: “Come out this Saturday and join the Concord Veteran Care Project and friends to support the great work they are doing in Wyoming County! Whether you are a veteran or you know one, you will not want to miss this opportunity to celebrate #dipietroforyou #veterans https://t.co/92JL9x1eYg”

Two days later, on April 16, 2026, he attended a dinner honoring first responders: “Spending time with our great community members and leaders at the Elma Fire Department Installation Dinner! Congratulations to all the awardees for your dedication, sacrifice, and hard work in serving your neighbors and community! #dipietroforyou #firedepartment https://t.co/XHkYBxX9i0”

On April 18, 2026, DiPietro reflected on meeting veterans from his district: “The best part about the work I do is being able to meet my constituents and get to know them. I was grateful to meet with some hometown heroes from the Springville/Boston area at the Amvets Post 219. There’s so many things to learn from our veterans, whether it’s historical https://t.co/oWVyZbBVOD”

According to his official biography on the New York State Assembly website, DiPietro has supported protections for local agriculture and pro-life causes while advocating for Second Amendment rights. He has worked toward reducing taxes for small businesses and protecting family farms (source). In addition to these efforts, he has served as Ranking Minority Member on the Small Business Committee and as Minority Whip. His legislative focus includes championing constitutional freedoms and fostering economic growth through tax reductions (source). Outside of public office, DiPietro managed Sparkle Cleaners by expanding his family’s dry cleaning business (source).
