Dave DiPietro, a New York State Assemblyman representing the southern portion of Erie County and all of Wyoming County, highlighted recent community recognitions in a series of social media posts on March 10 and 11, 2026.

On March 10, DiPietro shared his office’s participation at a local event: “This weekend, my office was pleased to attend the Elma, Marilla, and Wales Boys and Girls Club Alumni Dinner and present NYS Certificates of Merit to Denise Marshall, Denny Powers, and Patty Markowski-Burdette. Congratulations to them for their hard work and leadership in the” (posted March 10, 2026).

Later that day, he recognized emergency service personnel at another gathering: “The annual Collins Fire Department Installation Dinner did not disappoint! Congratulations to the Firefighter of the Year, Dennis Jensen, for your dedicated service and courage in the community! It is one of my greatest honors to be able to represent and support key and” (posted March 10, 2026).

On March 11, DiPietro reported on an agricultural awards event: “I was pleased to have my office present NYS Assembly Certificates of Merit to the amazing businesses and individuals honored at the Wyoming County Agriculture Awards Dinner! It’s thanks to these essential contributions that Wyoming County prospers, grows, and continues to” (posted March 11, 2026).

According to his official biography from the New York State Assembly website (source), DiPietro has supported protections for local agriculture as well as pro-life causes. He has also advocated for Second Amendment rights and tax reductions aimed at aiding small businesses. His legislative work includes serving as Ranking Minority Member on the Small Business Committee and as Minority Whip. In addition to his public service roles focused on constitutional freedoms and economic growth initiatives through tax reduction policies, DiPietro managed Sparkle Cleaners—expanding his family’s dry cleaning business with new locations.

These recent acknowledgments reflect ongoing engagement with various sectors across Erie and Wyoming counties.
