Daemen Wildcats secure NCAA Division II basketball win on March 14

Benjamin Bill, a former standout at Hamburg High School, helped lead his current team, the Daemen Wildcats, to a 111-78 victory over the Goldey-Beacom Lightning in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament on Saturday, March 14.

The matchup, which tipped off at 5 p.m., was held at Charles L. & Gloria B. Lumsden Gymnasium and marked the first tournament meeting between Daemen and Goldey-Beacom.

The Wildcats are slated to compete again on Sunday, March 15 at 7:30 p.m., returning to Charles L. & Gloria B. Lumsden Gymnasium.
