The Buffalo Sabres clinched a spot in the Stanley Cup Playoffs on April 5, ending a postseason drought that dated back to 2011. The team secured its place after the Detroit Red Wings lost to the New York Rangers.

This development is significant for both the team and its fans, as it marks the end of a long absence from playoff contention. It also brings renewed excitement to supporters who have awaited this moment for over a decade.

According to the team, Sabres Season Ticket Members will receive priority access to purchase tickets for Round 1 home games. After this period of priority access, a limited number of tickets are expected to be made available to the general public. The timing for public ticket sales will be announced in the coming days.

Fans looking to guarantee playoff ticket access can do so by purchasing a full-season membership for 2026-27 through Sabres.com/Memberships. Additionally, playoff merchandise is now available at The Sabres Store inside KeyBank Center.

The Sabres have three home games remaining in their regular season schedule: April 6 against Tampa Bay, April 9 against Columbus, and April 15 against Dallas. By finishing as one of the top two seeds in the Atlantic Division, Buffalo can clinch home-ice advantage for the first round of playoffs. The Stanley Cup Playoffs are scheduled to begin on April 18.
