The Buffalo Sabres have announced the return of their Sabres Holiday Angels program for 2025, in partnership with Child and Family Services and presented by AMR. The initiative is an adopt-a-family program designed to help local families in need during the holiday season.
Rich Jureller, Vice President of Community Relations for the Buffalo Sabres, said, “Our fans’ generosity has made our Sabres Holiday Angels program a tradition that brightens the holidays for so many in our community. We are grateful to all who continue to share the warmth and generosity of the season with families in need throughout Western New York.”
Fans interested in participating can visit sabres.com/holidayangels to register and adopt a family. After registration, participants will receive an email containing details such as age, gender, clothing size, and interests for each family member to assist with gift selection.
In addition to adopting a family, supporters may donate individual gifts or bring wrapping paper and accessories to designated drop-off locations. Those unable to visit a drop-off site can mail gift cards directly to Child and Family Services at 844 Delaware Ave., Buffalo, NY 14209.
Alicia Stark, Development Manager at Child and Family Services, stated, “Our partnership with the Buffalo Sabres is a reflection of the kindness that runs through this community. We are so grateful to every Holiday Angel for supporting local families in need this holiday season.”
Donors are asked to leave gifts unwrapped and label them with the assigned family number using provided labels. All donations must be delivered by Thursday, December 18. Drop-off sites include Child and Family Services at 844 Delaware Ave., open weekdays from December 8-18 between 8:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m. and 1:45 p.m.-4:45 p.m., as well as KeyBank Center’s Sabres Alumni Plaza on Thursday, December 11 from 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
