The Buffalo Sabres secured a place in the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs with a 4-1 win over the Boston Bruins in Game 6 at TD Garden, according to a May 2 announcement. This marks the first time since their run to the Eastern Conference Final in 2007 that the Sabres have won a playoff series.

The result means Buffalo will face either Montreal or Tampa Bay in Round 2. The series between those two teams is tied at three games each, with Game 7 scheduled for Sunday. As winners of the Atlantic Division, Buffalo will have home-ice advantage regardless of which team advances.

The team said Ticketmaster remains its official ticket marketplace for playoff tickets. The Sabres also announced plans to continue hosting Sabrehood Block Parties for every home game during Round 2 and throughout their playoff campaign.

Fans are encouraged to visit the team’s Playoff Central Page for additional information on tickets and upcoming events. Updates on scheduling for Round 2 will be provided as soon as they are available through official channels.
