The Buffalo Sabres announced on April 16 that Game 1 of their first-round playoff series against the Boston Bruins will take place at KeyBank Center on Sunday, April 19 at 7:30 p.m.

The game will be broadcast locally on MSG and nationally on ESPN for viewers outside the Buffalo area. The National Hockey League is expected to release the complete series schedule after all playoff matchups are finalized Thursday night.

Ticketmaster remains the official ticket marketplace for Sabres games. Fans can also participate in special events surrounding the playoff opener. The team is inviting supporters to attend a free Sabrehood Block Party, which includes a pregame event in Ticketmaster Alumni Plaza and an in-game watch party at Canalside.

The Party in the Plaza will begin three hours before puck drop, offering music, photo opportunities, appearances by alumni, as well as food and drinks. Meanwhile, the Watch Party at Canalside opens two hours prior to game time and features a large screen showing of the match along with live entertainment and food and beer trucks.

Additional information about these block parties—which are scheduled for every home playoff game—can be found through official team channels.
