The Buffalo Bills’ video production team has received six nominations for the New York Emmy Awards this year. The 68th Annual NY Emmy Awards will be held on October 11, while the 3rd Annual NY Sports Emmy Awards are scheduled for September 16.

Among the nominated projects is a short-form content piece featuring quarterback Josh Allen working with two patients from Oishei Children’s Hospital to design his game day cleats for the “My Cause My Cleats” initiative. The segment highlights Allen’s collaboration with Blake and Bella, focusing on their creative process and connection.

Another nominee is an episode of “Buffalo Bills: Embedded,” which provides an inside look at the team’s 2024 NFL Draft operations. General Manager Brandon Beane leads discussions and decisions that shaped the draft class, including selections such as Keon Coleman, Cole Bishop, and DeWayne Carter. The program also covers moments at the NFL Combine and introduces new players as they arrive in Buffalo.

The series “Beyond Blue & Red” is recognized for its exploration of personal stories behind Bills players. One episode follows linebacker Terrel Bernard’s background in La Porte, Texas, and his relationship with his grandfather. Another story features wide receiver Khalil Shakir’s connection with former player Eric Moulds, highlighting mentorship across generations.

A documentary titled “Built for Buffalo” documents the construction of the new Highmark Stadium. It includes interviews with architects, engineers, and laborers involved in building the venue, detailing features like an open-air design, real grass field, covered seating, and advanced technology aimed at enhancing fan experience.

Also nominated is a sports documentary marking ten years since Terry and Kim Pegula acquired ownership of the team. The film presents interviews with key figures such as Terry Pegula, Josh Allen, Sean McDermott, Brandon Beane, Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, Kyle Williams, Mary Wilson, Governor Kathy Hochul, among others. It recounts milestones including hiring new leadership staff members and ending a long playoff drought.

Finally, a branded content entry—the 2023 Playoff Hype Video—adopts a casino theme inspired by Las Vegas to energize fans ahead of postseason games. Steve Tasker leads appearances by several local personalities to celebrate Buffalo’s football culture.

“Stay tuned to see which projects earn Emmy awards!”
