The Buffalo Bills have announced that M&T Bank will expand its presence in the upcoming Highmark Stadium by introducing the M&T Bank Lounge. The lounge is described as a year-round, premium space for game days, events, and meetings.
“M&T Bank continues as a valuable Bills partner, and its brand aligns perfectly with one of Western New York’s premier event and meeting venues,” said Jason Hartlund, SVP & Chief Commercial Officer. “We expect the new Highmark Stadium to become the go-to location for a variety of occasions, including private and corporate events.”
The M&T Bank Lounge is designed to serve as a gathering place for the business community in Western New York on game days. It will be accessible to all suite and Founders Club ticket holders and aims to provide opportunities for guests to connect without leaving their sections.
Outside of football games, the lounge will be available for private rentals such as celebrations, conferences, and corporate meetings. Tracy Woodrow, M&T Bank Chief Administrative Officer and Regional President for Western New York, said: “The Buffalo Bills have built one of the strongest fan bases in the country by focusing on relationships – creating an environment where connections are made and community takes shape. This emphasis on connection will extend into the new M&T Bank Lounge, which will become a regional destination for harnessing the power of relationships in a truly extraordinary space. This partnership builds on M&T Bank’s enduring commitment to bringing together our community to strengthen the regional economy.”
The lounge is noted as being the largest among fifteen rentable spaces within Highmark Stadium. These spaces are intended to increase year-round activity at the venue.
Suite guests and Founders Club members will have access to this communal area as part of their ticket benefits. On game days, food service will include rotating small plates served throughout the space, with featured drinks changing regularly. The setting is intended to be both polished and comfortable.
Highmark Stadium is set to open in 2026 in Orchard Park, New York. The venue was developed with input from Legends and Populous architectural firm and aims to provide modern amenities such as covered seating bowls, advanced technology integration, 360-degree concourses, frictionless marketplaces for food and beverages, and audio/visual features designed to enhance fan experience. The stadium’s design reflects local architecture and is planned as a public-private partnership between the Buffalo Bills organization, New York State, and Erie County.
M&T Bank is headquartered in Buffalo, New York, offering banking products across several states along the eastern U.S., with additional trust services provided through Wilmington Trust-affiliated companies.
