The Buffalo Bills have announced that they will bring back their Standing Buffalo throwback uniforms for their Week 6 game against the Atlanta Falcons on October 13. The game, scheduled for Monday Night Football at 7:15 p.m., marks the first time in 2025 that the team will wear this classic look. The throwback uniforms are set to make a second appearance at home in Week 11 when the Bills face Tampa Bay.
The Standing Buffalo helmet is recognized by its white shell and red bison silhouette decal on each side, separated by a red stripe bordered by blue running down the center. This helmet will be worn with an all-white uniform featuring traditional red and blue stripes on both sleeves and pants.
These throwback uniforms were originally worn from 1962 through 1972 during away games. The Bills most recently donned this historic look on October 31, 2021, in a home victory over Miami. They have also used versions of this uniform in previous seasons, including in 2009 and between 2012 and 2021.
The Atlanta Falcons have also announced plans to wear their own vintage attire for the matchup. For the first time in 2025, Atlanta will wear its 1966 throwback uniforms: red helmets paired with black jerseys and white pants.
