The Buffalo Bills have signed wide receiver Deon Cain to a one-year contract, adding him to their training camp roster.
Cain previously joined the Bills during the 2024 preseason, recording three receptions for 28 yards. He entered the NFL as a sixth-round pick by the Indianapolis Colts in 2018 after playing college football at Clemson. Over his professional career, Cain has also spent time with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Ravens, and Philadelphia Eagles. He has appeared in 15 NFL games with six starts and has totaled 124 receiving yards.
In addition to his NFL experience, Cain played for the Birmingham Stallions in the USFL. He was named Most Valuable Player of the 2023 USFL Championship game after catching three touchdowns. Cain is originally from Tampa, Florida.
To make room on the roster, the Bills released cornerback Daryl Porter Jr.
