The Buffalo Bills announced on Mar. 26 the signing of center Lloyd Cushenberry III, wide receiver Trent Sherfield Sr., and center/guard Austin Corbett to one-year contracts for the 2026 season.
These additions are expected to strengthen both the offensive line and receiving corps as the team prepares for the upcoming NFL season.
Cushenberry brings significant starting experience to Buffalo, having played two seasons with the Tennessee Titans where he started every game at center. Before joining Tennessee, he spent four years with the Denver Broncos, appearing in 57 games. Cushenberry was originally drafted by Denver in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft after playing college football at Louisiana State University.
Sherfield returns to Buffalo after previously playing for the team in 2023, when he recorded eleven catches for eighty-six yards and one touchdown. In his most recent season, Sherfield played ten games with three starts for the Denver Broncos before joining practice squads with Arizona and New England. Over his career, which began as an undrafted free agent with Arizona in 2018, Sherfield has also played for San Francisco, Miami—where he had thirty catches for four hundred seventeen yards—and Minnesota.
Corbett joins from Carolina following a four-year stint during which he made thirty-nine appearances and thirty-seven starts across various positions on their offensive line. Previously drafted by Cleveland in 2018 before being traded midseason to Los Angeles Rams in 2019, Corbett started forty games there and participated in six playoff contests including Super Bowl LVI.
The Bills have also re-signed Connor McGovern and Alec Anderson as part of their efforts to bolster depth along their offensive front.
