The Buffalo Bills announced on Apr. 25 that they have selected Kaleb Elarms-Orr, a linebacker from Texas Christian University, with the 126th overall pick in the fourth round of the 2026 NFL Draft.
Elarms-Orr’s selection is notable for his strong college performance and his fit within Buffalo’s defensive plans. The team brought him to Buffalo for a pre-draft visit earlier this spring, which left a positive impression on both sides.
“I love Buffalo. I love the city. Got to meet the whole staff. Everybody was warm and welcome and this is my type of spot, for sure,” Elarms-Orr said about his experience during his visit.
Elarms-Orr described himself as a versatile linebacker who can contribute across all phases of defense. “[The system] definitely fits my profile. I pride myself on the versatility of my game. Just being able to be a three-phase, complete linebacker, stop the run, stop the pass and affect the quarterback. And I feel like I can bring all three of those to the city,” he said.
During his fifth-year season at TCU in 2025, Elarms-Orr recorded 130 tackles, including 11 tackles for loss, four sacks and six quarterback hits—achievements that earned him First-Team All-Big 12 Conference honors. He emphasized his approach to tackling: “I take a lot of pride in tackling. As linebackers, you can’t miss a lot of tackles or at least bad plays,” he said. “I always just try and bring a lot of force, a lot of power into my tackles… always trying to get the dudes down for minimal gains.” At this year’s NFL Combine he posted a time of 4.47 seconds in the forty-yard dash—the third fastest among linebackers—and measured at six-foot-two inches tall and weighing 234 pounds.
Looking ahead to joining Buffalo’s roster under new defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard’s scheme, Elarms-Orr pointed out what fans can expect from him as he begins his professional career: “You’re gonna get someone that’s a hard worker, is always trying to be around the ball, a leader and someone that you guys can count on for years and years to come,” he said.
