The Buffalo Bills will have the 26th overall pick in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft. The NFL has set the order for the first 32 picks, and Buffalo’s draft position reflects their performance in the previous season.
The Bills finished their 2025-26 season with a 12-5 regular season record and advanced to the playoffs, where they were eliminated by the Denver Broncos in the AFC Divisional Round. This playoff outcome determined that Buffalo would receive the 26th overall selection. The Chicago Bears, who had an 11-6 record, will select just before Buffalo at number 25. Following the Bills, the San Francisco 49ers—who also finished with a 12-5 record and lost their NFC Divisional Round game—will make their pick.
Buffalo has previously held the No. 26 pick several times, most recently in 2006 when they selected defensive tackle John McCargo. Other years when they picked at this spot include 1973, 1984, 1991, and 2000.
The upcoming draft is scheduled to take place from Thursday, April 23 through Saturday, April 25 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
