The Buffalo Bills have agreed to a three-year extension with St. John Fisher University to continue holding their training camp in Rochester from 2026 through 2028.
General Manager Brandon Beane said the decision to stay in Rochester was straightforward for the organization. “We really enjoy the setup there. We think it’s important to our team,” Beane said about hosting camp at St. John Fisher University. “Even though it’s a dying breed of teams that like to go away, and we love our facilities here, we feel it provides such an important element of team chemistry, bonding, a real focus for everyone for how to prepare our team for a long season. They do such a great job for us. The staff is excellent there. It’s a nice change of scenery to fire you up for the season.”
The 2026 training camp will mark the 25th time the Bills have held their preseason preparations at St. John Fisher University, continuing a tradition started in 2000. Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Pete Guelli commented on the renewed agreement: “We could not be more excited to continue this long-standing partnership. St John Fisher University has been an amazing host to our organization and the perfect location for our fans to engage with the team. Rochester will always be an important part of Bills Mafia, and we are looking forward to going back for the 25th training camp next summer.”
St. John Fisher University’s president Dr. Gerard J. Rooney expressed enthusiasm about extending the relationship with the NFL franchise: “We are thrilled to enter into a new agreement with the Buffalo Bills for the next three years as the continuing host of Bills Training Camp,” he said. “We have enjoyed this partnership for more than two decades and greatly anticipate next summer’s 25th anniversary of camp at Fisher. We are grateful to the Buffalo Bills organization for instilling its trust in us to continue this beloved summer tradition in Western New York and look forward to their return in 2026 and beyond. It’s a win for Fisher, Bills fans, and for the greater Rochester community.”
Wegmans has also joined as presenting sponsor of Bills Training Camp starting with this extension period. Deana Percassi, Vice President of Community Engagement and Communication at Wegmans, noted: “This partnership reflects our ongoing commitment to fostering community spirit across Western New York,” she said. “As part of this sponsorship, Wegmans will be actively involved in camp activities, offering engaging fan experiences, and creating memorable moments for fans and families throughout the seasons ahead.”
Details regarding times, dates, and ticketing information for future camps will be provided later through official Buffalo Bills channels.
